Directions

My Famous Tuna Casserole

In college a friend of mine was always broke and didn’t eat properly so I would often make him tuna casserole .He always requested it even when he became an architect; economical or not he loved it.

Cook noodles for 5 mins., they will be al dente (cooking too long will result in a mushy casserole)

In medium skillet, sauté celery and onion until tender.

In pot from noodles, combine noodles, tuna, celery, onion, mushrooms, frozen peas, milk, soup and spices.

Turn half the tuna mixture into casserole greased with cooking spray.

Put one layer of cheese over noodle mixture. Repeat.

Sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Cover.

Bake at 350 for 30 mins.
